In this year's edition with the initiative of forumZFD, the festival will dedicate part of the program to the topic dealing with the past. Through this edition we aim to encourage young people to develop awareness of key social issues related to this topic, awakening the activist in themselves by using film as an artistic tool.

The goal of the Dealing with the Past program and the online Panel Discussion is to encourage discussion among film makers and artists on controversial and critical topics with focus on 2001-armed conflict in North Macedonia and whether or not is early to use 2001 as topic for films.
