The Supervisory Board would like to expressly thank Alexander Mauz for his great commitment and his valuable work over the past years. He joined our organisation in 2018 as Director of Programs & Qualification and, since 2023, has served as full-time Chair of the Executive Board.
Under his leadership, Pro Peace has repositioned itself with a new strategy and a new brand name. In times of major changes for peacebuilding work, Alexander Mauz provided the Pro Peace team with security and stability. He has had a lasting impact on the organisation and worked to ensure that Pro Peace is a strong voice for peace.
We thank Alexander Mauz and wish him all the best for the future!
Until a permanent successor is appointed, Caroline Wiegand, as a member of the Executive Board, will continue to manage the affairs of Pro Peace. The Supervisory Board has great confidence in the Executive Board and the staff to continue Pro Peace’s peacebuilding work responsibly and with great dedication in these challenging times.
