About Standing Together:
Standing Together is a progressive grassroots movement that mobilises Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel against the occupation and for peace, equality, social and climate justice. With over 5,000 members, it is the biggest movement of its kind in Israel. In response to Hamas's atrocities of October 7th and Israel's harsh retaliation, Standing Together became a driving force in the protests for a ceasefire and hostage deal. Its initiatives strengthened Jewish-Palestinian cooperation in Israel, such as Solidarity Watches in mixed cities, and ensured aid to Gazans: Joint Jewish-Palestinian Humanitarian Guard protecting aid trucks against settler violence attracted the police’s and worldwide attention and enabled a safe passage.
