Local Conflicts in Germany
Trainings
As part of the Local Conflicts programme, Pro Peace also offers suitable training opportunities. These are organised by our Academy for Conflict Transformation. The offer is aimed at people who work or are involved in the municipality or their local community.
Do you want to deal more confidently with conflicts in your municipality or city and develop specific ideas for conflict resolution? In our training programmes, participants strengthen their communication skills and develop an analytical view of conflicts in their respective municipal context. A holistic view of conflicts and their impact on the local community helps to find new solutions. A sound understanding of conflict helps to decipher conflict dynamics and counter polarisation. Different positions, interests and needs can be taken into account and suitable strategies can be developed that go beyond one's own usual behaviour.
In 2025, we are offering a multi-month, cross-community training programme for conflict competence. So far we are only offering trainings in German. For trainings in English visit our Acadamy for Conflict Transformation.
