
The activities of various actors, authorities, women's organizations and the academic community on building a democratic and gender-inclusive society were presented, and important areas of further interventions in the processes of dealing with the past and peacebuilding were mapped.
The first panel of the conference focused on the strategic orientation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the implementation of UN Resolution 1325, successes and challenges in the implementation of national action plans for the implementation of the Resolution, the engagement of governmental and non-governmental actors, and the achieved level of justice for victims of wartime sexual violence in BiH.
The topic of the second panel was Women in the Culture of Remembrance in Bosnia and Herzegovina, within various initiatives were presented that seek to redefine the dominant policies of the culture of remembrance and increase the visibility of women's achievements, experiences and suffering in the past and today. Women's key challenges and achievements were discussed at the conference, as well as the extent to which they are represented in the culture of remembrance in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The initiative "100 Women, 100 Streets named after women" was highlighted, where the idea that streets and squares are named after women of Bosnia and Herzegovina is advocated.
The conference was attended by 40 representatives from various organizations, institutions and academia in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
