“Dealing with the Forgotten” exhibition aims to document the violation of human rights and to encourage an accurate expression of respect and acknowledgment for the missing persons from the last war in Kosovo.
Photographs and stories that are shown through this exhibition are a tryptic focusing on a survivor, through whose stories, memories and emotional connections, the missing person is also portrayed.
Each of the photographs, divided in three parts, transmits three narratives of the photographed person that are intertwined with memories, longing and their life after losing their loved ones.
Dardan Hoti, one of the authors, opened the exhibition, followed with a speech by Mr. Prenk Gjetaj, the head of Kosovo Government Commission for Missing Persons.
The exhibition will be open for public until 29.02.2020.
This exhibition is supported by forumZFD – Kosovo Program through the funds of German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
