- Locations: Pro Peace offices in Belgrade, Sarajevo, Prishtina, and Skopje

2. Audit Scope & Objectives
The auditor is expected to:
- Perform a full financial audit in accordance with internationally recognized auditing standards;
- Verify compliance with BMZ funding rules;
- Review original financial documents, vouchers, and accounting records;
- Assess the internal control environment;
- Confirm the proper and transparent use of funds;
- Provide recommendations on financial management and risk mitigation.
3. Field Visits & Timeline
- On-site fieldwork: ~ 12–14 working days across the four offices. Original documentation must be accessed and verified during visits.
- Field visits scheduled: February 2026.
- Final audit report due: 31 March 2026, in English, structured per BMZ requirements.
4. Offer Requirements
Your proposal must include:
- Technical offer – audit methodology, work plan, and timeline;
- Financial offer – professional fees plus all travel, lodging, and costs for audit staff;
- Company profile and references, particularly experience with donor-funded NGOs or BMZ projects;
- Proof of certification and any relevant regulatory registrations;
- Team composition, including CVs of auditors who will be assigned.
5. Eligibility & Selection Criteria
- Legally certified audit firm;
- Prior experience auditing international/donor-funded projects (BMZ experience preferred);
- Ability to travel to and operate in Western Balkan countries;
- Independence, objectivity, and professional integrity;
- Fluency in English.
