On 27th of October 2022 Pro Peace - Kosovo Program in cooperation with the University of Prishtina - Department of Psychology organized the panel discussion "Dealing with the Past from a Psychological Perspective".

In this discussion, the panel was composed of professors Department of Psychology, as well as the Head of the department where they presented evidence of existing studies in Kosovo that deal with the consequences of the war and its implications in the post-war period. 

Prof. Aliriza Arënliu discussed traumatic experiences after the war at the individual level, Prof. Mytaher Haskuka dealt with the experience of the war at the collective level and discussed the implications of the war in moral reasoning, in the end, Prof. Kaltrina Kelmendi spoke about resilience and its importance in promoting psychological well-being when dealing with the past.

The discussion took place on the premises of the University of Prishtina and the panel was moderated by Vjollca Islami Hajrullahu, project manager at the Pro Peace.
